In the third quarter of 2021, Estonia's iOS users engaged actively with the top navigation and maps applications. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading five apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps experienced a notable range of weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 1.2K in mid-July and dipping to a low of around 572 in mid-September. Despite these fluctuations, the overall trend was relatively stable, with downloads mostly staying above 600 per week.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a steady decline in weekly downloads throughout Q3. Starting at 776 downloads in late June, the app's downloads decreased to 437 by the end of September.

NaviCup demonstrated some variability in its weekly downloads. The app peaked at 433 downloads in late August but saw a significant drop to 42 downloads by the end of September.

Google Earth maintained a consistent performance in weekly downloads, with numbers hovering between 52 and 119 throughout the quarter. The highest download figure was recorded in mid-July with 119 downloads.
